Frédéric PLOURDE (PhD)
Founder
A graduate engineer, Frédéric Plourde, is also a Research Director at CNRS. For more than 20 years, he has developed a cross-disciplinary approach that combines hands-on engineering, scientific research, and digital innovation applied to industry.
He began his career in fluid mechanics and heat transfer before gradually specializing in advanced modelling of complex physical systems and numerical simulation applied to aerospace and energy. He has published several scientific papers and led large-scale collaborative research projects at both national and European levels.
At the same time, he founded DFM-Europe, an agile company that supports industrial firms in their digital transformation. Drawing on recognized expertise in artificial intelligence, technical workflow automation, and IoT sensor integration, DFM-Europe develops tailor-made solutions for European industrial clients.
In 2024, Frédéric and his teams launched myATN, a modular platform of sovereign digital assistants designed to automate repetitive, high-value tasks in industrial, administrative, and technical environments. The solution is built on a sovereign architecture, explainable AI, and deep business-specific customization. It is now deployed in France and beginning its expansion into Germany.
He also leads strategic R&D projects in healthcare, including AI-based FFR modelling from 3D coronary angiography, in green hydrogen through the HYDIA project, and contributes to work in the nuclear industry.
Frédéric Plourde serves on several scientific committees and mentors engineering and entrepreneurship students through university and incubation programs.
